ACTS OF CONSECRATION

PRAYER OF CONSECRATION TO THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

CONSECRATION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY: To You, Virgin Mary, Mother of God and Our Mother, to Your Immaculate Heart I consecrate, surrender and give myself completely to the Lord. Take me under Your maternal protection, defend me from the dangers that surround me. Help me to overcome the temptations that tempt me to do evil. Help me to preserve the purity of my body, my spirit and my heart. Take me to Jesus, Your Son and Son of God, to be united to Him on the altar and to be offered to the Father as a small sacrifice of love, for eternal praise to the Blessed Trinity, whom I adore and love. I believe in His love and in His mercy, I hope to sing with you, oh Mary, forever, the praise of His Glory.

VATICAN CITY, October 13, 2013 (Zenit.org) - Here is the translation
of the prayer of consecration recited by Pope Francis in consecrating
the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

Holy Mary Virgin of Fatima, with renewed gratitude for your maternal presence we join our voice to that of all the generations who call you blessed. We celebrate in you the works of God, who never tires of looking down with mercy upon humanity, afflicted with the wound of sin, to heal it and save it.
Accept with the benevolence of a Mother the act of consecration that we perform today with confidence, before this image of you that is so dear to us.We are certain that each of us is precious in your eyes and that nothing of all that lives in our hearts is unknown to you. We let ourselves be touched by your most sweet regard and we welcome the consoling caress of your smile.
Hold our life in your arms: bless and strengthen every desire for good; revive and nourish faith; sustain and enlighten hope; awaken and animate charity;guide all of us along the path of holiness. Teach us your own preferential lovefor the little and the poor, for the excluded and the suffering, for sinners and the downhearted: bring everyone under your protection and entrust everyone to your beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus. Amen.

A Solemn Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Most Holy Virgin Mary, tender Mother of men, to fulfill the desires of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the request of the Vicar of Your Son on earth, we consecrate ourselves and our families to your Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart, O Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and we recommend to You, all the people of our country and all the world.
Please accept our consecration, dearest Mother, and use us as You wish to accomplish Your designs in the world.
O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, and Queen of the World, rule over us, together with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ, Our King. Save us from the spreading flood of modern paganism; kindle in our hearts and homes the love of purity, the practice of a virtuous life, an ardent zeal for souls, and a desire to pray the Rosary more faithfully.
We come with confidence to You, O Throne of Grace and Mother of Fair Love. Inflame us with the same Divine Fire which has inflamed Your own Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart. Make our hearts and homes Your shrine, and through us, make the Heart of Jesus, together with your rule, triumph in every heart and home.
Amen.
--Venerable Pope Pius XII
"Consecration to the Mother of God," says Pope Pius XII, "is a total gift of self, for the whole of life and for all eternity; and a gift which is not a mere formality or sentimentality, but effectual, comprising the full intensity of the Christian life - Marian life." This consecration, the Pope explained, "tends essentially to union with Jesus, under the guidance of Mary."

Act of Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
I, N......., a faithless sinner-- renew and ratify today in thy hands, O Immaculate Mother, the vows of my Baptism; I renounce forever Satan, his pomps and works; and I give myself entirely to Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Wisdom, to carry my cross after Him all the days of my life, and to be more faithful to Him than I have ever been before.

In the presence of all the heavenly court I choose thee this day, for my Mother and Mistress. I deliver and consecrate to thee, as thy slave, my body and soul, my goods, both interior and exterior, and even the value of all my good actions, past, present and future; leaving to thee the entire and full right of disposing of me, and all that belongs to me, without exception, according to thy good pleasure, for the greater glory of God, in timeand in eternity. Pope Pius XII Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

Queen of the Holy Rosary,
Help of the Christians,
Refuge of the human race,
Conqueress in God’s battlefields,
To You and to Your Immaculate Heart
In this tragic hour of human history
We entrust and consecrate ourselves,
And the Holy Church.
She is the Mystical Body of Your Jesus,
Suffering and bleeding in so many parts
And tormented in so many ways,
We consecrate to You the whole world torn by bitter strive
And consumed by the fire of hatred
The victim of its own wickedness.
Look with compassion to all material and moral destruction
To the suffering and fears of fathers and mothers
Of husbands and wives, of brother and sisters and innocent children.
Look at the many lives cut down in the flower of youth
So many bodies torn to pieces in brutal slaughter
So many souls tortured and troubled
And in danger of being lost eternally.
Oh, Mother of Mercy, obtain peace for us from God!
Obtain especially those graces, which can convert human hearts quickly.
Those graces, which can prepare, establish and insure peace.
Queen of Peace, pray for us;
Give the world at war the peace for which all are longing,
Peace in Truth, Justice and the Charity of Christ.
Give them peace of the arms and peace of mind,
That in tranquillity and order
The Kingdom of God may expand.
Grant Your protection to infidels
And to those still walking in the shadow of death;
Give them peace and permit that the sun of truth may raise upon them;
And that together with us
They may repeat before the Only Saviour of the World:
Glory to God in the highest
And peace on earth among men of good will (Lk2.14)
Give peace to the people separated by error and schism,
Particularly those, who have special devotion to You
And among whom there was no home,
Where Your venerable Icon was not honoured,
Though at present it may be hidden
In the hope for better days.
Bring them back to the One Fold of Christ,
Under the One True Shepherd.
Obtain peace and complete liberty for the Holy Church of God,
Check the spreading flood of neo-paganism,
Arouse within the faithful love of purity
The practice of Christian life and apostolic zeal,
So that the people who serve God,
May increase in merit and number.
All of humanity were once consecrated to the Heart of Your Son.
All our hopes rest in Him, Who is in all times
Sign and pledge of victory and salvation.
Forever we consecrate ourselves to You
And to Your Immaculate Heart,
Oh, Mother and Queen of the World!
May Your love and patronage hasten the victory of the Kingdom of God,
May all nations, at peace with each other and with God, proclaim You Blessed
And sing with You from one end of the earth to the other,
The eternal Magnificat of glory, love and gratitude
To the Heart of Jesus, in which alone,
They can find Truth, Life and Peace.

Prayer for the Act of Consecration of Ireland to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
Most Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God and Refuge of Sinners, we entrust and consecrate ourselves, our family, our home, our Dioceses and Ireland our country to Jesus through your Immaculate Heart.  As your children, we promise to follow your example in our lives by doing at all times the will of God.
O Mary, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, we renew today the promises of our Baptism and Confirmation.  Intercede for us with the Holy Spirit that we may be always faithful to your Divine Son, to his Mystical Body, the Catholic Church, and to the teachings of his Vicar on earth, our Holy Father the Pope.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, our Queen and our Mother, we promise to uphold the sanctity of marriage and the welfare of the family.  Watch over our minds and hearts and preserve our young people from dangers to their faith and the many temptations that threaten them in the world today.
We ask you, Mary our Advocate to intercede with your divine Son.  Obtain for our country the grace to uphold the uniqueness of every human life, from the first moment of conception to natural death.
O Blessed Mother, Our Life, Our Sweetness and Our Hope, we wish that this Consecration be for the greater glory of God and that it lead us safely to Jesus your Son.
A Naomh-Mhuire, a Mháthair Dé, guigh orainn na peacaigh, anois agus ar uair ár mbáis.
Amen
This prayer has been approved for use by the National Centre for Liturgy and by Cardinal Seán Brady.
Prayer to Mary, Mother of the Church and Mother of our faith
Mother, help our faith!
Open our ears to hear God’s word and to recognise his voice and call.
Awaken in us a desire to follow in his footsteps, to go forth from our own land and to receive his promise.
Help us to be touched by his love, that we may touch him in faith.
Help us to entrust ourselves fully to him and to believe in his love, especially at times of trial, beneath the shadow of the cross, when our faith is called to mature.
Sow in our faith the joy of the Risen One.
Remind us that those who believe are never alone.
Teach us to see all things with the eyes of Jesus, that he may be light for our path. And may this light of faith always increase in us, until the dawn of that undying day which is Christ himself, your Son, our Lord!
Amen
This prayer is taken from Lumen Fidei,  the recent Encyclical Letter of Pope Francis.

Prayer of St. Faustina to Our Lady
O Mary, my Mother and my Lady, I offer you my soul, my body, my life and my death and all that will come after it. I place everything in your hands, O my Mother, cover my soul with your virginal mantle and grant me the grace of purity of heart, soul and body. Defend me with your power against all enemies and especially against those who hide their malice behind the mask of virtue. Fortify my soul that pain may not break it. Mother of grace, teach me to live by God’s power.

O Mary, a terrible sword has pierced you holy soul. Except for God, no one knows of your suffering. Your soul does not break, it is brave, because it is with Jesus. Sweet Mother, unite my soul to Jesus, because it is only then that I will be able to endure all trials and tribulations and only in union with Jesus will my little sacrifices be pleasing to God. Sweetest Mother, continue to teach me about the interior life. May the sword of suffering never break me. O pure Virgin, pour courage into my heart and guard it. Amen.

Apostolic Letter Carissimis Russiae Populis (1952)
On the Immaculate Heart and the People of Russia
Pius XII
We know — and the knowledge has filled Our heart with hope and with deepest comfort — that you love and honor the Virgin Mother of God with ardent affection and that you venerate her sacred images. It is known that in the Kremlin itself there was constructed a church — today unfortunately no longer being used for divine worship—dedicated to our Lady assumed into heaven; and this is a most clear testimony of the affectionate devotion which your forebears had and you have for the beloved Mother of God.

HOPE FOR HEARTS THAT LOVE MARY
Now We are well aware that the hope of salvation can never be absent wherever hearts are turned with sincere and ardent piety to the most holy Mother of God. Though attempts be made by men, no matter how powerful or impious, to extirpate the Christian religion and Christian virtue from the minds of the citizens, and though Satan himself may strive with every means to foster this sacrilegious struggle—as is described in the words of the Apostle of the Gentiles: "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities and the powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places"[1]—yet notwithstanding, when Mary interposes her powerful protection, the gates of hell cannot prevail.
She, in fact, is the most loving and most powerful Mother of God and of us all, and never was it heard that anyone has had suppliant recourse to her and has not experienced her most efficacious protection. Continue, therefore, as you have been doing, to venerate her with fervent piety, and to love her ardently and to invoke her with these words which you have been accustomed to address to her: "To you alone has it been given, O most holy and most pure Mother of God, unfailingly to have your petitions ever answered."[2]

MARY IMPLORED FOR RUSSIA
We, together with you, are raising to her Our suppliant invocations, that the Christian Faith, which is the honor and support of human society, may be strengthened and increased among the peoples of Russia, and that all the wiles of the enemies of religion, all their errors and their deceptive artifices, may be driven far from you; that public and private morality may be brought into conformity with the teachings of the Gospels; that those especially who among you profess themselves as Catholics, although deprived of their pastors, may resist with fearless fortitude the assaults of the impious, if necessary even unto death; that just liberty, which is the right of the human person, of citizens, and of Christians, may be restored to all as it should be, and in the first place to the Church, which has the divine mandate of teaching to all men truth and virtue; and finally that true peace may come with its shining light to your beloved nation and to all men throughout the world, and that this peace, founded securely upon justice and nourished by fraternal charity, may lead all mankind to that common well-being of citizens and peoples which is the fruit of mutual concord.
May our most loving Mother be pleased to look with clemency also upon those who are organizing the ranks of militant atheists and upon those who are collaborating in promoting such activities; may she deign to obtain for their minds that light which comes from God and direct their hearts through divine grace unto salvation.

RUSSIA CONSECRATED TO THE IMMACULATE HEART
In order that Our and your prayers be more readily answered, and to give you an especial attestation of Our particular affection, therefore, just as not many years ago We consecrated the entire world to the Immaculate Heart of the Virgin Mother of God, in a most special way, so now We dedicate and consecrate all the peoples of Russia to that same Immaculate Heart, in confident assurance that through the most powerful protection of the Virgin Mary there may, at the earliest moment, be happily realized the hopes and desires which We, together with you and with all those of upright intention, have for the attainment of true peace, of fraternal concord, and of rightful liberty for all: in the first place for the Church, so that through the mediation of the prayer which We raise to heaven in union with you and with all Christian peoples, the saving Kingdom of Christ, which is "a Kingdom of truth and of life, a Kingdom of sanctity and of grace, a Kingdom of justice, of love, and of peace,"[3] may triumph and be firmly established in every part of the world.
And with suppliant appeal We pray the same most loving Mother that she may assist every one of you in the present sad circumstances and obtain from her divine Son heavenly light for your minds, and for your souls that virtue and fortitude by which, with God's grace, you may be able victoriously to overcome impiety and error.

Consecration of the Modern World to Our Lady of Fátima (1982)
"We entrust, O Mary, and consecrate the whole world to your Immaculate Heart!"
(On Thursday, 13 May, after the concelebrated Mass in Fatima, Pope John Paul II made the following act of consecration of the modern world to Our Lady of Fatima.)
1. "We have recourse to your protection, holy Mother of God." As I utter the words of this antiphon with which the Church of Christ has prayed for centuries, I find myself today in this place chosen by you, O Mother, and by you particularly loved.
I am here, united with all the Pastors of the Church in that particular bond whereby we constitute a body and a college, just as Christ desired the Apostles to be in union with Peter.
In the bond of this union, I utter the words of the present Act, in which I wish to include, once more, the hopes and anxieties of the Church in the modern world.
Forty years ago and again ten years later, your servant Pope Pius XII, having before his eyes the painful experience of the human family, entrusted and consecrated to your Immaculate Heart the whole world, especially the peoples for which you had particular love and solicitude.
This world of individuals and nations I too have before my eyes today, as I renew the entrusting and consecration carried out by my Predecessor in the See of Peter: the world of the second millennium that is drawing to a close, the modern world, our world today!
The Church, mindful of the Lord's words: "Go... and make disciples of all nations... and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age" (Mt 28:19-20), renewed, at the Second Vatican Council, her awareness of her mission in this world.
And therefore, O Mother of individuals and peoples, you who "know all their sufferings-and their hopes", you who have a mother's awareness of all the struggles between good and evil, between light and darkness, which afflict the modern world, accept the cry which we, as though moved by the Holy Spirit, address directly to your Heart. Embrace, with the love of the Mother and Handmaid, this human world of ours, which we entrust and consecrate to you, for we are full of disquiet for the earthly and eternal destiny of individuals and peoples.
In a special way we entrust and consecrate to you those individuals and nations which particularly need to be entrusted and consecrated.
"We have recourse to your protection, holy Mother of God: reject not the prayers we send up to you in our necessities.
Reject them not!
Accept our humble trust-and our act of entrusting!
2. "For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life" (Jn 3:16).
It was precisely by reason of this love that the Son of God consecrated himself for all mankind: "And for their sake I consecrate myself, that they also may be consecrated in truth" (In 17:19).
By reason of that consecration the disciples of all ages are called to spend themselves for the salvation of the world, and to supplement Christ's afflictions for the sake of his body, that is the Church (cf. 2 Cor 12:15; Col 1:24).
Before you, Mother of Christ, before your Immaculate Heart, I today, together with the whole Church, unite myself with our Redeemer in this his consecration for the world and for people, which only in his divine Heart has the power to obtain pardon and to secure reparation.
The power of this consecration lasts for all time and embraces all individuals, peoples and nations. It overcomes every evil that the spirit of darkness is able to awaken, and has in fact awakened in our times, in the heart of man and in his history.
The Church, the Mystical Body of Christ, unites herself, through the service of Peter's successor, to this consecration by our Redeemer.
Oh, how deeply we feel the need for consecration on the part of humanity and of the world-our modern world-in union with Christ himself! The redeeming work of Christ, in fact, must be shared in by the world by means of the Church.
Oh, how pained we are by all the things in the Church and in each one of us that are opposed to holiness and consecration! How pained we are that the invitation to repentance, to conversion, to prayer, has not met with the acceptance that it should have received!
How pained we are that many share so coldly in Christ's work of Redemption! That "what is lacking in Christ's afflictions" is so insufficiently completed in our flesh.
And so, blessed be all those souls that obey the call of eternal Love! Blessed be all those who, day after day, with undiminished generosity accept your invitation, O Mother, to do what your Jesus tells them (cf. Jn 2:5) and give the Church and the world a serene testimony of lives inspired by the Gospel.
Above all blessed be you, the Handmaid of the Lord, who in the fullest way obey the divine call!
Hail to you, who are wholly united to the redeeming consecration of your Son!
Mother of the Church! Enlighten the People of God along the paths of faith, of hope and love! Help us to live with the whole truth of the consecration of Christ for the entire human family of the modern world.
3. In entrusting to you, O Mother, the world, all individuals and peoples, we also entrust to you the consecration itself, for -the world's sake, placing it in your motherly Heart.
Oh, Immaculate Heart! Help us to conquer the menace of evil, which so easily takes root in the hearts of the people of today, and whose immeasurable effects already weigh down upon our modern world and seem to block the paths towards the future!
From famine and war, deliver us.
From nuclear war, from incalculable self-destruction, from every kind of war, deliver us.
From sins against the life of man from its very beginning, deliver us.
From hatred and from the demeaning of the dignity of the children of God, deliver us.
From every kind of injustice in the life of society, both national and international, deliver us.
From readiness to trample on the commandments of God, deliver us.:
From attempts to stifle in human hearts the very truth of God, deliver us.
From sins against the Holy Spirit, deliver us, deliver us.
Accept, O Mother of Christ, this cry laden with the sufferings of all individual human beings, laden with the sufferings of whole societies.
Let there be revealed, once more. in the history of the world your infinite power of merciful Love. May it put a stop to evil. May it transform consciences. May your Immaculate Heart reveal for all the light of Hope.

Consecration of 1982 renewed at end of 1983 Synod of Bishops
At the close of the Mass on Sunday, 16 October, the Holy Father, surrounded by numerous cardinals and bishops from all parts of the world who are taking part in the Synod, renewed the Act of Consecration of the world to the Mother of God. He used the same prayer he said at the Shrine of Fatima a year ago.
"At that time", said the Pope before reciting the Angelus, "I asked all my brothers in the episcopate to be with me spiritually. Today, many of you, thanks to the Synod of Bishops, are here, and in your presence and in union with you, I wish to repeat what I said on 13 May 1982."
[Consecration repeated as above for 1982]

Consecration of all Individuals and Peoples of the World
to the Immaculate Heart of Mary (1984)
Pope John Paul II
St. Peter's Square, 25 March 1984Before the Holy Year Mass for Families, with the Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, brought from Fatima to Rome for this purpose by the Bishop of Leiria-Fatima next to the main altar, the Holy Father gave an introduction, also in English, where he said in part:
"....In remembrance of the 'Fiat' uttered by her at the moment of the Annunciation, I will today entrust to her Immaculate Heart—in spiritual union with all the bishops of the world—all individuals and peoples, repeating in substance the act that I made at Fatima on May 13, 1982. ..."

ACT OF CONSECRATION
Immediately after the Holy Year Mass for Families:
1. "We have recourse to your protection, holy Mother of God".
As we utter the words of this antiphon with which the Church of Christ has prayed for centuries, we find ourselves today before you, Mother, in the Jubilee Year of the Redemption.
We find ourselves united with all the pastors of the Church in a particular bond whereby we constitute a body and a college, just as by Christ’s wish the Apostles constituted a body and college with Peter.
In the bond of this union, we utter the words of the present Act, in which we wish to include, once more, the Church’s hopes and anxieties for the modern world.
Forty years ago and again ten years later, your servant Pope Pius XII, having before his eyes the painful experiences of the human family, entrusted and consecrated to your Immaculate Heart the whole world, especially the peoples for which by reason of their situation you have particular love and solicitude.
This world of individuals and nations we too have before our eyes today: the world of the second millennium that is drawing to a close, the modern world, our world!
The Church, mindful of the Lord’s words: "Go... and make disciples of all nations... and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age" (Mt 28:19-20), has, at the Second Vatican Council, given fresh life to her awareness of her mission in this world.
And therefore, O Mother of individuals and peoples, you who know all their sufferings and their hopes, you who have a mother’s awareness of all the struggles between good and evil, between light and darkness, which afflict the modern world, accept the cry which we, moved by the Holy Spirit, address directly to your Heart. Embrace, with the love of the Mother and Handmaid of the Lord, this human world of ours, which we entrust and consecrate to you, for we are full of concern for the earthly and eternal destiny of individuals and peoples.
In a special way we entrust and consecrate to you those individuals and nations which particularly need to be thus entrusted and consecrated.
"We have recourse to your protection, holy Mother of God": despise not our petitions in our necessities.

2
. Behold, as we stand before you, Mother of Christ, before your Immaculate Heart, we desire, together with the whole Church, to unite ourselves with the consecration which, for love of us, your Son made of himself to the Father: "For their sake", he said, "I consecrate myself that they also may be consecrated in the truth" (Jn 17:19). We wish to unite ourselves with our Redeemer in this his consecration for the world and for the human race, which, in his divine Heart, has the power to obtain pardon and to secure reparation.
The power of this consecration lasts for all time and embraces all individuals, peoples and nations. It overcomes every evil that the spirit of darkness is able to awaken, and has in fact awakened in our times, in the heart of man and in his history.
How deeply we feel the need for the consecration of humanity and the world—our modern world—in union with Christ himself! For the redeeming work of Christ must be shared in by the world through the Church.
The present year of the Redemption shows this: the special Jubilee of the whole Church.
Above all creatures, may you be blessed, you, the Handmaid of the Lord, who in the fullest way obeyed the divine call!
Hail to you, who are wholly united to the redeeming consecration of your Son!
Mother of the Church! Enlighten the People of God along the paths of faith, hope and love! Enlighten especially the peoples whose consecration and entrustment by us you are awaiting. Help us to live in the truth of the consecration of Christ for the entire human family of the modern world.

3. In entrusting to you, oh Mother, the world, all individuals and peoples, we also entrust to you this very consecration of the world, placing it in your motherly Heart.
Immaculate Heart!
From hatred and from the demeaning of the dignity of the children of God,deliver us.
From every kind of injustice in the life of society, both national and international, deliver us.
From readiness to trample on the commandments of God, deliver us.
From attempts to stifle in human hearts the very truth of God, deliver us.
From the loss of awareness of good and evil, deliver us.
From sins against the Holy Spirit, deliver usdeliver us.
From sins against the Holy Spirit, deliver usdeliver us.
Accept, Oh Mother of Christ, this cry laden with the sufferings of all individual human beings, laden with the sufferings of whole societies.
Help us with the power of the Holy Spirit to conquer all sin: individual sin and the "sin of the world", in all its manifestations.
Let there be revealed, once more, in the history of the world the infinite saving power of the Redemption: the power of merciful Love! May it put a stop to evil! May it transform consciences! May your Immaculate Heart reveal for all the light of Hope!

Pope’s prayer to Our Lady of Fatima
In the afternoon of March 25, 1984, inside the Vatican Basilica and before the pilgrim statue of Our Lady of Fatima, before it was taken to the Basilica of St. John Lateran for an all-night vigil, the Holy Father prayed as follows:
Brothers and Sisters.
Before this Marian stay in St. Peter’s Basilica comes to an end, allow me to say a word of thanks. I want to thank you, Mother of Christ, Our Lady of Fatima, who have given us this honor today, the third Sunday of Lent, the day of the Jubilee for families; you who have paid us this visit on a day so full of our faith and our hope. As Bishop of Rome I want to than you, Mother of Christ, Our Lady of Fatima, for this visit of yours in St. Peter’s Basilica on a day when this basilica and this square, filled with pilgrims for the Holy Year of the Redemption, have been able to attend a solemn, deeply felt, I would say suffered, act of entrustment, an act addressed to your Immaculate Heart and, in your Immaculate Heart, addressed to your Son, the Redeemer of the world, the Redeemer of man. We rely on this Immaculate Heart of yours, a mother’s Heart, because in this Heart of yours you carried him as his mother. We rely on this mother’s Heart of yours because with this Heart you embrace all his disciples, indeed all individuals.
So today we have wanted to entrust the fate of the world, of individuals, of peoples, to your Immaculate Heart in order to arrive at the very center of the mystery of Redemption, the mystery that is stronger than all the sins of man and of the world, the mystery in which one can conquer sin in its various forms, in which one can begin, can inaugurate, a new world. And we so need this new world because we experience more and more that the old world, the world of sin, oppresses us, frightens us, brings us various forms of injustice; many times under the name of justice it brings us injustice.
So we have wanted to choose this Sunday, the third Sunday of Lent of the year 1984, still within the Holy Year of the Redemption, for the act of entrusting, of consecrating the world, the great human family, all peoples, especially those in such need of this consecration, this entrustment. All this we have been able to do according to our poor human ability, in the dimension of your motherly concern.
Our Lady of Fatima, to whom we are so devoted and so grateful, indeed in the most intimate and personal sense, you had wanted to pay us a visit on this day that is so important here in Rome. How grateful we are for this! How thankful we are for this! What grace you have given us with this presence of yours which I would say is personal. And our gratitude is extended to the guardian of your sanctuary in Fatima, our beloved brother in the episcopate, the bishop of Leiria-Fatima. We are grateful to him for bringing us the statue of Our Lady of Fatima. We are all grateful, all Romans, above all the Bishop of Rome. We are so grateful for this visit of the statue of Fatima here in our own surroundings: first in the Pauline Chapel of the Vatican, then in my private chapel, then in St. Peter’s Square during the great celebration, and finally in this basilica. Now in this basilica there comes to an end the visit of Our Lady of Fatima who, to continue her presence in Rome, will go to the Cathedral of the Bishop of Rome, St. John Lateran, and then, according to what I have learned, to the Sanctuary of Divine Love. Excuse us, O Madonna, excuse us, Oh Mother of Jesus, if we have to meet in this Rome in various places, in different sites. We must open, we want to open, the grace of your presence to the various locales of this large city and diocese of the Pope. I thank you for everything, and I thank you in the name of everyone, especially in the name of the Cardinal Vicar of Rome, of my brothers in the episcopate, of all the priests, of the whole People of God in this city and in this Church.
I kiss your feet for wanting to direct your steps to us.
May I be permitted, Oh Mary, Our Lady of Fatima, to give again in your presence a Blessing to all present and to the whole Church of Rome.

Fátima - 1984 Consecration

Letters of Sr. Lucia Santos, OCD on the Consecration

Letter 1: To Sr. Mary of Bethlehem
J.+ M. Pax Christi

Dear Sister Mary of Bethlehem:
Received your letter and, although I have very little time at my disposal I will answer your question which is: Is the Consecration of the world, according to the request of Our Lady, made?
On Oct. 31, 1942, His Holiness Pius XII made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made as Our Lady requested. I answered "NO," because it was not made in union with all the bishops of the world.
Later, on May 13, 1967, His Holiness Paul VI made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made as Our Lady requested. I responded "NO," for the same reason, it was not made in union with all the bishops of the world.
On May 13, 1982, His Holiness John Paul II made the Consecration. I was asked if it was made. I responded "NO." It was not made in union with all the bishops of the world.
Then this same Supreme Pontiff, John Paul II wrote to all the bishops of the world asking them to unite with him. He sent for the statute of Our Lady of Fátima -- the one from the little Chapel to be taken to Rome and on March 25, 1984 - publicly - with the bishops who wanted to unite with His Holiness, made the Consecration as Our Lady requested. They then asked me if it was made as Our Lady requested, and I said, "YES." Now it was made.
Why this urgency of God that this Consecration should be made in union with all the bishops of the world? Because this Consecration is a call for unity of all Christians - The Mystical Body of Christ - whose head is the Pope, the one, true representative of Christ on earth to whom the Lord confided the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and on this union depends the faith in the world and the charity which is the bond that must unite all of us in Christ, as that which He wants, and as He asked the Father: "As You, O Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You have sent Me. . . I in them, and You in Me; that they be made perfect in one, and the world may know that You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me" (John 17:21-23).
As we see of the union depends the faith and the charity that must be the bond of our union in Christ, whose true representative on earth is the Pope.
A hug to your mother and my greetings to the rest of the family in union with prayers.

[Commentary: Those who say Sr. Lucia mentions only the "world" above but not "Russia" and was therefore not writing of the Collegial Consecration requested by heaven are not being realistic. They should refer to all the articles in the special issue on the Collegial Consecration in the Fátima Family Apostolate's "Fátima Family Messenger" (Oct.-Nov.-Dec. 1989). Fr. Messias Coelho, theologian and editor of the Portuguese journal "Mesagem de Fátima," answered the objection effectively from the philosophical and theological aspect. Sister Lucia, out of respect for the Pope, spoke of it the way our Holy Father did, using the word "world, " which included Russia. In the letter the Pope sent to the world's bishops, the Holy Father clarified that it was to renew both the consecration of the world (1942) and Russia (1952). This time he did so in union with the bishops.]

The Peace of Christ

Rev. Father Robert J. Fox

I come to answer your question, "If the consecration made by Pope John Paul II on March 25, 1984 in union with all the bishops of the world, accomplished the conditions for the consecration of Russia according to the request of Our Lady in Tuy on June 13 of 1929?" Yes, it was accomplished, and since then I have said that it was made.

And I say that no other person responds for me, it is I who receive and open all letters and respond to them.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
THE GREATEST STORY RARELY, IF EVER TOLD........
Fatima and the consecration of Russia and how it collapsed. July 13, 1917 The Blessed Virgin Mary promises to 3 peasent children of Fatima, in what became the most witnessed apparition from heaven recorded, that if the Bishop's of the world together with the Pope “come and ask the consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart” Heaven will convert Russia June 13, 1929 Our Lady fulfills her promise, asking “for the consecration of Russia to Her Immaculate Heart, promising its conversion through this means and the hindering of the propagation of its errors.” date unknown Pius XI (1922-1939) informed of this request 1938 Portuguese Bishops ask Pius XI for the Consecration of the World to the Immaculate Heart. It is said they were influenced to do this by the spiritual director of Bl. Alexandrina da Costa (1904-1955). June 1940 Request made to Pius XII through the Bishop of Macau, and a little later through Father Gonzaga de Fonseca. Mention is made of Our Lady asking the Consecrating of Russia to the Immaculate Heart.

December 1940 Sr. Lucia writes letter to Pius XII, saying that Our Lord Himself requests the Pope to “consecrate the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, with a special mention for Russia, and order that all the Bishops of the world do the same in union with Your Holiness.”4 October 31, 1942 Pope Pius XII consecrates the world to the Immaculate Heart, not Russia. July 7, 1952 Pope Pius XII consecrates the Russian people to the Immaculate Heart not Russia itself. November 21, 1964 Pope Paul VI renews, in the presence of the Fathers of the Vatican Council 2 but without their participation, the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart. May 13, 1982 Pope John Paul II invites the bishops of the world to join him in consecrating the world and with it Russia to the Immaculate Heart. Many do not receive the invitation in time for the Pope’s trip to Fatima, where he accomplishes the consecration. Sr. Lucia later says it did not fulfill the conditions.

March 25, 1984 Pope John Paul II, “united with all the pastors of the Church in a particular bond whereby we constitute a body and a college,” consecrates “the whole world, especially the peoples for which by reason of their situation you have particular love and solicitude.” Both the Pope and Sr. Lucia initially seemed uncertain that the consecration has been fulfilled, but shortly thereafter Sr. Lucia tells the papal nuncio to Portugal that the Consecration is fulfilled. May 13, 1984 One of the largest crowds in Fatima history gathers at the shrine to pray the Rosary for peace. Message delivered....

Now watch this!! May 13, 1984 An explosion at the Soviets’ Severomorsk Naval Base destroys two-thirds of all the missiles stockpiled for the Soviets’ Northern Fleet. The blast also destroys workshops needed to maintain the missiles as well as hundreds of scientists and technicians. Western military experts called it the worst naval disaster the Soviet Navy has suffered since WWII. December 1984 Soviet Defense Minister, mastermind of the invasion plans for Western Europe, suddenly and mysteriously dies. March 10, 1985 Soviet Chairman Konstantin Chernenko dies March 11, 1985 Soviet Chairman Mikhail Gorbachev elected April 26, 1986 Chernobyl nuclear reactor accident May 12, 1988 An explosion wrecked the only factory that made the rocket motors for the Soviets’ deadly SS 24 long-range missiles, which carry ten nuclear bombs each. August 29, 1989 Sr. Lucia affirms in correspondence that the consecration “has been accomplished” and that “God will keep His word.” November 9, 1989 Fall of the Berlin Wall Nov-Dec 1989 Peaceful revolutions in Czechoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Albania 1990 East and West Germany are unified December 25, 1991 Dissolution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics Sometimes I feel like I am the only Catholic in America that believes in the Consecration that Pope John Paul II did in 1984???

I constantly have to defend my belief in this consecration by people who are constantly insisting that because the Holy Father did not use the word "Russia" it cannot be true. They also use the argument that Russia is not converted as promised. In fact the leadership of Russia today is not friendly to the West and is not Democratic. These are good observations and I can understand their skepticism based on the facts they have. I have not wanted to put all the facts together again because it takes a great deal of writing to make the argument well enough to end the questions once and for all. So usually I just tell people one of two short arguments. 1. Our Lady promised to convert Russia from Communism and not to a perfect Catholic Nation. 2. Lucia said, Our Lady has accepted the consecration and She will keep Her promise. Has anyone ever wondered if God gave us a half hearted conversion because we gave him a half hearted consecration? In 1943 Christ appeared to Lucia and as she reported said, “I want all my children to recognize that the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be the reason for the conversion of Russia.” It was promised, prophecised and well documented. How can anyone deny it's fall around the exact same time of the consecration? Who knew? God that's who..... That statement made me realize that because I know this subject quite well, I want to set the record straight once and for all so that we can have faith that Our Lady fulfilled all she promised. I have read so much including one man which sticks out, not a priest, who spent seven years in Fatima, living 100 yards from Lucia’s house and in site of the apparitions of the Angels. Because he had a car and Lucia’s living relatives did not he would take them to see Lucia almost every month. For this reason he met with Lucia 11 times, talked with her, and gave her questions in writing. He got to know all the other Nuns at the Convent of Coimbra and all the experts on Fatima. Sister Isabel assured him: Lucia would not have said Our Lady has accepted the consecration, if Our Lady had not appeared to her and told her this. It is true that in the first years after the consecration Lucia was not sure it was done correctly, but after this apparition she was sure.

The Facts Pope Leo XIII Vision of 1884 Go back into history with me – all the way to 1884. In 1884 Pope Leo the 13th had a vision while saying Mass at St. Peters Basilica in Rome. He saw Satan and Christ talking. Satan said, “I can destroy your Church. – But I need more time and more power over those who are willing to give themselves over to me. Christ said, “How much time?” “100 years” Christ said, “You have it.” As many of you know this frightened St. Leo so much that he order the prayer to St. Michael said in all the Masses throughout the world. That was October 13th, 1884. Pope Leo 13th then consecrated the whole world to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. He then created the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Satans 100 years of power What happened during those 100 years after POPE LEOs vision of Aug 15th, 1884 I will go quickly because there is an important point to be made here. Before 1884 the Masons set up the Encyclopedia Britannia to distort history and to make all religion look unscientific. They tried the French Revolution in 1778. Naturalism was already in the world, Carl Sagans Materialism, Voltaires population vs. food supply, Rousseau (beyond good and evil – superman), Darwin -1858 Gradualism (Not rejected by the scientific world until 1980), Marx and his Communist Manifesto. In 1867 Marx dedicated his Das Capital to Darwin. Nietzsche wrote his Socialism and Naturalism. Freud developed his Psychology from Darwin and from Freud and Darwin there was developed an entire New School System without religion and marking the End of Family unit as we knew it. World War I started -ending the system of Catholic Kings. 38 Kings were removed from 1911 to 1922.

Modernism became the new social norm with no absolutes, no fixed moral order, everything changes, a never ending change downward. World War II started because of Nazism and the idea of a supreme race. Huxleys Secular Humanism claimed that religion is destined to disappear and Communism, the results of Atheism took 78% of the world. We had Vatican II but Vatican II is not the problem inside the Church. Tan publishing has a book called “AA-1025″ it tells the master plan of Communists to infiltrate the seminaries, the priesthood, to even become bishops. But most of all to change the Catechism and the Mass. (The plan was to make the word “Charity” mean “love” and the word “Church” to mean the meeting of friendly brethren; to make the meaning of Real Presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist depend on ones faith. In other words, “nothing religious exists outside of creative faith”) These people infiltrated the seminaries: the Communists, the Masons, the Homosexuals, and the writings of: Karl Ronher 1966, the idealist (idea is real, nothing else) The “Theological Investigations” of Fr. Edward Schillebeeckx (a Dominican priest in 1968) wrote that the Eucharist was a change of sign only. This book and the results of this book caused Pope Paul VI to write the Encyclical “Mysterium Fidei” but it also became the tool of people like Hans Kung – Tad Goosy, Marquette University- and Anthony Willhelm who wrote “Christ Among Us” , 2,000,000 copies were sent into the seminaries free of cost in most cases. This book is what corrupted the modern day priests. People like Monika Hellwig and her book “Understanding Catholicism” corrupted the seminaries, especially in America. “This is my body” came to mean “embodiment in community” Monika Hellwig was at Georgetown University. She is now the director of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities, a Branch of National Catholic Education Association The main Pillars of teachings the faith = “Creation, Sin, Redemption, Liturgy, Sacraments, Priesthood, Church, Catholic Doctrine, Catholic Morality, Catholic Spirituality” became the targets of the Liberal. So-called “New Catechism” from Holland, Condemned at Romein 1968 has become the pattern for the American Catechisms Our Lady was not inactive during this time.

In 1910 the Masons took over the government of Portugal. Masons are the most anti-religious group in history. At the upper levels (32nd degree) they are Satanic. In 1911 World War I started Fatima's beginning In 1915 Lucia and three other children (not Jacinta and Francisco) saw a ball of light come down from the shy. In the light they saw an angel. He did not speak. This started the Fatima apparitions. In 1917 in Rome there were two Demonstrations: one by the Masons for their two-hundredth anniversary of the 1717 Freemason Lodge, with signs showing a picture of Lucifer and stating “The Devil shall rule in the Vatican and the Pope will be his lackey” Also in Rome there was a demonstration of the 400th anniversary of the 95 theses of Luther pined on the Church door in 1517. But in 1917 St. Maxmillian Kolbe started the Militia Immaculatia dedicated to the service of the Virgin and to the converting the world to the Catholic Church. On May 5th 1917 Pope Benedict 15th published a prayer to Our Lady – for Peace in the world. 8 days later on May 13th 1917 Our Lady of Fatima appeared for the first time On the same day: Oct 13, 1917, Lenin marched into Russia Satan still had his 100 years of power. 1938 – Jan 25th the promised Light appeared throughout all of Europe And World War II started in 1938. Lucia sent the Secret letter to the Pope to be opened in 1960 By 1981 – 73% of the world was Communist 170 million had died since Fatima 50 million in world war II 115 million under Stalin and Mao 1 million in Afghanistan 1 million in Cambodia 1 million in Vietnam On May 13th 1981 ( the feast of Fatima) the Pope was Shot. In the hospital his nurse said that Our Lady of Fatima had saved his life. He did not know a lot about Fatima so in the hospital he read every book he could get. In 1981 the National conference of Catholic Bishops of the US sent a letter to the Holy Father requesting the Consecration 1982 – May 13th at Fatima- Consecrated world to IHM (Lucia said it was not correctly done) So the Holy Father Sent his Secretary of State to Fatima and Lucia and Maccias Cohair sat with him for six hours explaining exactly how the consecration had to be done. And on March 25, 1984 Pope John Paul and the bishops throughout the world consecrated Russia and the world to the IHM. Even Russian Orthodox Bishops entered in.

A few years later Lucia said, Our Lady has accepted the 1984 consecration and She will keep Her promise.” This was exactly 100 years after the Vision of Pope Leo XIII. When Satan was granted 100 years to try and destroy Gods Church. After the 1984 Consecration After the consecration a strange happening took place. An explosion in Siberia destroyed Russias largest ammunition base. This was the heart of its power base and no one knew why. Five days later on Dec 19 Marshal Ustinov, the Minister of Defense, died or was killed Three days later Marshal Sodolov, the 2ed Minister of Defense died All in 9 months from the consecration. In March of 1985 (one Year after consecration) President Chernenko died and Mikhial Gorbachev was made President. He was the First Baptized Christian President although still a communist. He instituted glassnoss and perestroika (freedom of the press and freedom of religion) This was the downfall of communism. 15 republics were freed from communism, and the Warsaw pact ended In 1989 Lucia said publicly that the Consecration was completed and that “God will keep His Word”. That year on Nov 9th the Berlin Wall came down and Gorbachev meet Pope at theVatican and promised religious freedom The following year on the Feast of Fatima, May 13th, freedom of religion was made the law of Russia. And on the feast of the miracle of Fatima, Oct 13, Gorbachev received the Nobel Peace Prize Two months later Gorbachev met the Pope in Vatican for 2ed time. In this meeting the Pope told him that he knew it was he that ordered the hit on the Pope. Gorbachev asked his forgiveness. (It is this story that Lucia was asked to keep silent about and nothing else.) In 1991 (March 15) diplomatic relations with the Vatican and Russia were opened and so were Latin-rite churches for the first time. May 1, 1991 was the 100 anniversary of Rerum Novarum, the encyclical “On the Condition of Human Labor by Pope Leo XII, and the Feast of St. Joseph, the Worker, and the end of May Day as a communist holiday. On May 13, 1991 Pope John Paul II went to Fatima to thank Our Lady for all the countries that were freed, for saving his life, and for the end of the communist threat to the world. But on Aug 19, 1991 the communists attempted to overthrow Gorbachev. They picked the wrong day for it was the 74th anniversary of the Aug appearance at Fatima. On Aug 22 the attempt failed and the communists were defeated. This was the feast of the Queen ship of Mary.

Two months later, on Oct 13 (another feast of Fatima) the first pilgrims of Russia went to Fatima. It was Televised in 150 stations in Russia and 350 Radio stations in Russia, and again on Nov 7th it was televised again. Dec 8th was the start of the Commonwealth of republics, The end of the USSR 12 days later Yeltsin met with the Pope in Rome And 13 days after that (on Dec 25th, 1991) the Communist Flag came down for last time over Russia Gorbachev resigned and sent a letter to Pope John Paul II 15 republics were freed from communism. On Dec 30th, 1991 Lucia wrote that the world will recognize that the defeat of Communism was by Mary In 1992 another attempt was made to overthrow the government and Yelson stood against the entire communist army and no one died. On March 14, 1992 Pravda ended Then on Christmas day, 1992 Communism was declared illegal in Russia By 1996, Starting with People Power and Rosary in the Philippines, 87 dictatorships fell throughout the world. From March 25, 1884 until March 25, 1984 is exactly 100 years. In 1884 Pope Saint Leo XII saw Christ give Satan power for 100 years. In 1984 Pope John Paul II Consecrated Russia and the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Communism fell, 87 other dictators fell. The Icon of Kazan that was kept in Fatima for 50 years went back to Russia and was placed back in its Basilica by a Muslem Major. This same major built a special church for Our Lady of Fatima. In Moscow a special Church was made for the National Statue of Our Lady of Fatima. The Catholic Church in Russia is growing faster than any country in the world and the seminaries are full. Freedom of religion is greater in Russia than in America. Another thing said in Fatima was: Russia will spread her errors throughout the world. Although 87 dictators (mostly communists) fell, some of these are now going back to socialist monetary systems and the worst of these is America.

Economically America is more communist than Russia today. As promised came a period of peace.. 2017 is the 100th anniversary of Fatima will it also be the end of Satans 100 year extra reign? What happened in fatima is NOT an article of faith.... But what I didnt even comment on was the "miracle of the sun" as promised 6 months earlier by the virgin to 3 iliterate peasent children and yup it went off, as promised, in front of an estimated 70,000 people. Atheists converted, infirmed and crippled repaired, blasphemers of Jesus church, Catholicism, converted back before they lost their soul and promises kept. You decide.... This is one small aspect of the greatest apparition ever given by heaven to a Godless world.
